1、 Calibrate the cooperation direction in the Asia Pacific region
Since its establishment, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation has achieved significant results in promoting the development of the Asia Pacific region, and the level of regional economic integration has continued to improve. For example, in the first 30 years, the average tariff in the Asia Pacific region has significantly decreased, per capita income has increased, and it has made tremendous contributions to world economic growth. However, in recent years, some countries' disruptive actions such as the "Indo Pacific Strategy" have cast a shadow over Asia Pacific cooperation. The informal meeting of leaders, with the theme of "empowerment, inclusiveness, and growth", conforms to the trend and looks forward to all parties promoting trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, technological innovation empowerment, green development to promote sustainable growth, opening the next "golden thirty years" of Asia Pacific cooperation, and promoting the construction of the Asia Pacific community.
2、 Gathering consensus on global governance reform
The G20 summit was born during the international financial crisis, effectively enhancing international cooperation and gradually transforming into an important platform. The 2016 Hangzhou Summit has become a milestone in global governance reform. The current global economy is facing challenges. The theme of this year's summit is "Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet", with a focus on reforming global governance institutions. We look forward to the G20 carrying forward the spirit of partnership and promoting the development of the global governance system towards greater inclusiveness, fairness, and rationality.
3、 Unite the forces of global southern solidarity
The "Global South" is an emerging force with an increasing share of the world economy. This year's commemorative meeting of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation and the BRICS Summit in Kazan reflect their development. The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Informal Meeting and the G20 Leaders' Summit were held in countries of the "Global South", and the African Union participated in the G20 Leaders' Summit for the first time. It is hoped that these two summits can safeguard the interests of the "Global South" and promote world multipolarity and economic globalization.
4、 Showcasing the sense of responsibility and coordination among major powers
In the face of global issues, major powers should take responsibility, but some major powers' geopolitical interference affects international cooperation. However, there is a trend of cooperation between the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation and several ministerial meetings of the G20 this year.
